Our Year 4s learnt valuable life skills last week as they were trained in first aid! The children learnt and practised CPR; placing someone in the recovery position; managing bleeds; how to use an adrenaline autoinjector; and contacting the emergency services. Thank you so much to Mrs Daly for a fantastic opportunity and teaching them such important skills. #lifeskills #cpr #firstaid

Wow! Our school community have donated a huge amount for the St Vincent's Centre, Southend - Short Street. As usual, the SVP team - who came to collect them - were overwhelmed! Year 6 Retreat Day A huge thank you to St Thomas More and their Chaplaincy team for hosting our Year 6s for a retreat day. The children had a fantastic time, thinking about how special they are: the gifts and talents they all have and how they should share these with the world (Matthew 5:15) How they are crafted perfectly by God (Ephesians 2:10). They had a great time in workshops, enjoying time to reflect and pray, and learning more about Catholic Social Teaching. They even made outfits from recycled objects and had a fashion show!
