Parent Partnership
We are working towards our Leading Parent Partnership Award. Here are some of the ways that we have responded to your feedback to make our school an even better community to be part of.
-
Wraparound Care
We now offer a free breakfast club from 8:15am, giving children a positive and settled start to the day. Additionally, we provide an Early Morning Club from 7:30am for families who require an earlier drop-off time. We provide after-school care and in response to parents requests we do a tiered payment system depending upon the pick up time. -
Simplified Club Booking System
We have revised the way clubs are booked to make the process more straightforward and accessible for all parents. These changes help ensure that every family has a fair opportunity to sign their child up for a wide range of extracurricular activities. -
Weekly Newsletter
Our newsletter is now issued weekly and includes clearly outlined dates, up-to-date information about the coming week, and details of future events throughout the term. -
In-Person Parents’ Meetings
Parent-teacher meetings have returned to being held in person, allowing for more meaningful conversations and greater engagement. -
In-Person ISP Meetings
Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings are now also conducted in person and for longer time periods to ensure deeper discussion and planning for your child’s needs. These meetings are also made for you by the office to ensure that sibling appointments are made at a similar time. -
Chalkboards with Weekly Events
We have introduced chalkboards at the school gates displaying the key events taking place each week, helping to keep everyone informed at a glance. -
PE and Music Participation and Competitions
We have increased the number of events and competitions, allowing more children to take part, enjoy being active and perform, and represent the school. -
Parent and Pupil Learning events
We have introduced events where parents can come into school and learn with their children and be informed by teachers. We have streamlined these in response to working parents who have found the demand of attending too many events. -
Celebration and Stay and Pray Assemblies
We have invited parents to attend celebration assemblies so that they can see their child’s success as well as the two class assemblies we hold throughout the year. -
Attendance Officer
We have appointed a dedicated Attendance Officer to manage absences, ensure safeguarding, and process holiday requests more efficiently. -
Support Staff Mentoring Role
We have appointed support staff to mentor children and to be a contact point to make sure we prioritise children’s wellbeing. -
Uniform
We have widened the choice of uniform items so that all children have a comfortable choice of school wear.
