James Johnson B.Ed., M.A.
I was appointed by the Bishop as a Foundation Governor in the spring of 2016 and then elected as Chairman of Governors that summer term. I have recently taken early-retirement following twenty-five years of successful Headships in three Diocesan Primary schools. I am currently working as an Education Consultant, including various projects for the Diocesan Education Department. I have a passion for Catholic Education in helping pupils and staff develop their God-given gifts for the Common Good and the mission of the Church. With my mantra being, ‘Because learning never stops,’ I am still actively involved in a number of sports including, football, cricket and golf, in addition to being the concert organiser of the Chelmsford Male Voice Choir. I am also actively involved in different ministries within my own parish.
